FRAUDS, STATUTE OF, § 33oral contract not to be performed within one year. In forcible detainer suit for possession of warehouse, defendants' offer of proof that former owners of warehouse had entered into oral agreement with defendants to extend their written lease for one year commencing in future at expiration date of such lease was properly rejected under provisions of statute of frauds prohibiting enforcement of oral contracts not to be performed within one year from making thereof (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1945, ch. 59, par. 1; Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 55.01).
