ANTHONY TYLER SERVELLO, Appellant v. VILLASPORT LLC AND VILLASPORT KT LLC, Appellees

On Appeal from the 434th Judicial District Court Fort Bend County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 24-DCV-316536

Panel consists of Justices Jewell, Zimmerer, and Hassan.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

This is an appeal from an interlocutory order granting a temporary injunction signed June 6, 2024. Appellant filed a notice of appeal on June 11, 2024. On June 13, 2024, the trial court signed an order granting appellee's motion for contempt and sanctions and denying appellant's motion to reconsider and modify the temporary injunction. On June 13, 2024, appellant filed in this court an emergency motion for temporary relief requesting a stay of the contempt order pending this court's review of the temporary injunction. Appellant's entitlement to a stay of the contempt order pending our review of the temporary injunction warrants further consideration. We therefore grant a temporary stay of the June 13, 2024 contempt order pending further order of this court. See Tex.R.App.P. 29.3, 29.6. Appellees are requested to file a response to the motion for temporary relief. On June 14, 2024, we issued a letter requesting a response to appellant's motion, appellees' response is due 7 days from the date of this order.
