Appellant's brief has not been filed pending settlement negotiations. On July 6, 2022, after appellant informed the Court that the parties had settled and it would be filing a motion to dismiss the appeal upon appellee releasing the underlying judgment, we granted appellant's request to retain the appeal on the Court's docket and ordered appellant to file a motion to dismiss or status report no later than July 26, 2022. To date, however, appellant has not complied.
Accordingly, we ORDER appellant to file its brief on the merits or a motion to dismiss the appeal no later than August 25, 2022. We caution appellant that failure to comply may result in dismissal of the appeal without further notice. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(b),(c).
