Scott v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District
Sep 7, 2001
795 So. 2d 1030 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2001)

Opinion

No. 2D01-174.

September 7, 2001.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Pinellas County; Brandt C. Downey, III, Judge.

Christopher A. Scott, pro se.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Susan D. Dunlevy, Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Appellee.

Christopher A. Scott appeals an order holding him in direct criminal contempt and sentencing him to ninety days in jail. The State concedes that the trial judge failed to comply with the mandates of Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.830. We therefore reverse the order.

PARKER, A.C.J., and ALTENBERND and SALCINES, JJ., Concur.
