By letter filed July 24, 2023, appellant informs the Court that he has requested the reporter's record be supplemented with a transcript of the May 25, 2023 motion for new trial hearing, and he does not anticipate needing to request an extension of time to file his merits brief, which is currently due August 14, 2023.
We note the deadline for filing an appellant's brief does not begin to run until the record is complete. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6. We ORDER Donna Kindle, Official Court Reporter for the 303rd Judicial District Court, to file the requested supplemental record no later than August 17, 2023, and RESET the brief deadline to thirty days from the filing of the supplemental reporter's record.
We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to Ms. Kindle and the parties.
