CIVIL MINUTES - GENERAL

Proceedings: (IN CHAMBERS) - ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

The Court is in receipt of the Proofs of Service [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] filed May 14, 2024 by Plaintiff.

The Court is also in receipt of the Report re: Service[20] filed July 8, 2024.

The July 29, 2024 Status Conference at 11:00 A.M. is hereby vacated.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that PLAINTIFF show cause in writing not later than August 15, 2024 why this action should not be dismissed for lack of prosecution. In accordance with Rule 78 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Local Rule 7.15, oral argument shall not be heard in the above matter unless so ordered by the Court. The Order to Show Cause will stand submitted upon the filing of briefs.

Plaintiff is advised that the Court will consider an amended proof of service of summons and complaint on defendants, or plaintiff's request for entry of default on these defendants, if service was properly made, on or before the above date, as a satisfactory response to the Order to Show Cause.
