The applicant, Pointer Smith Contracting Corporation ("Pointer"), seeks a stay of the proceedings and expedited supervisory review of the trial court's October 17, 2023, ruling denying Pointer's "Motion to Set Aside Bench Trial and Re-fix Jury Trial." On the showing made, the writ is denied. Herlitz Construction Co. v. Hotel Investors of New Iberia, 396 So.2d 878 (La. 1981). Applicant's request for a stay of the proceedings is denied.
