CARLOS E. ROBLES, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

KATHLEEN KERRIGAN CHIEF JUDGE

On May 5, 2022, respondent filed an Answer that was signed by Ms. Ashely M. Bender and Olivia Hyatt Rembach. Upon review of the answer, the Court notes that Ms. Rembach signed the answer using a stylized signature of counsel, which is not an acceptable form of signature. The Court's procedures require at a minimum a digital image of an actual signature or use of an authentication program.

See Rule 23(a)(3); DAWSON User Guides on the Court's website, https://ustaxcourt.gov/resources/dawson/DAWSON_Practitioner_Training_Guide.pdf; and Frequently Asked Questions About DAWSON on the Court's website, https://ustaxcourt.gov/resources/dawson/DAWSON_FAQs.pdf. If Ms. Rembach wishes to enter her appearance as counsel for respondent in this case, Ms. Rembach is advised to file a proper entry of appearance. See Tax Court Rule 24(a)(3).

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that, in addition to regular service, the Clerk of the Court shall serve copies of this Order on Ms. Rembach at her address in the Answer.
