Reed v. State

SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE
May 20, 2013
67 A.3d 1023 (Del. 2013)

Opinion

No. 144 2013.

2013-05-20

Jerome B. REED, Defendant Below–Appellant, v. STATE of Delaware, Plaintiff Below–Appellee.

Court Below—Superior Court § of the State of Delaware, in and for Sussex County, Cr. ID 0101023931.
Before STEELE, Chief Justice, HOLLAND and BERGER, Justices.

ORDER

RANDY J. HOLLAND, Justice.

This 20th day of May 2013, after careful consideration of the opening brief, and the State's motion to affirm, we find it manifest that the judgment below should be affirmed on the basis of the Superior Court's well-reasoned decision dated March 6, 2013. The Superior Court did not err in concluding that appellant's seventh motion for postconviction relief was procedurally barred and that appellant had failed to overcome the procedural hurdles.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the judgment of the Superior Court is AFFIRMED.
