FARID M. RAD & ELAHM G. RAD, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Lewis R. Carluzzo Chief Special Trial Judge

This case for redetermination of a deficiency was recalled from the calendar for trial on December 4, 2023, during the Jacksonville, Florida trial session that started on that date in that city. The parties appeared and were heard.

It appears that a third-party might be in possession of documents that have relevance to the disputed issue in this case. It further appears that a subpoena might be required to compel production of those documents. In order to give the parties the opportunity better to prepare for trial through the issuance of a subpoena or otherwise, or to resolve the case without the need for trial, it is

ORDERED that this case is continued generally.
