No. 05-19-00240-CV

On Appeal from the 95th District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. DC-18-12515
ORDER
Before Chief Justice Burns, Justice Whitehill, and Justice Nowell
Appellant appeals from the trial court's order denying, in part, her motion to dismiss under the Texas Citizens' Participation Act (TCPA). See TEX. CIV. PRAC. & REM. CODE ANN. § 27.008(b); § 51.014(a)(12). Before the Court is appellant's March 20, 2019 motion for clarification of the automatic stay under section 51.014(b). See id. § 51.014(b). Appellant asks this Court to clarify the status of the trial court's proceedings on a co-defendant's pending special appearance and TCPA motion to dismiss in light of the automatic stay.
Section 51.014(b) provides that an interlocutory appeal under subsection (a)(12) "stays all other proceedings in the trial court pending resolution of that appeal." Id. The statute does not limit the stay to the parties on appeal. See id.
