ORDER REJECTING APPLICATIONS FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI
Petitioner/defendant-appellant Mathilda Noelani Mason's "writ of mandamus" and "notice of appeal," filed in the supreme court on August 4, 2 008 and August 7, 2 008, respectively, are deemed applications for writ of certiorari. Therein, Mason seeks review of the intermediate appellate court's July 10, 2008 dismissal of her appeal for non-payment or non-waiver of the filing fees. The applications are hereby rejected.
