MEMORANDUM OPINION


On June 30, 2006, appellant filed a notice of appeal in this case. We ordered appellant to file his brief by October 23, 2006. When appellant had not filed his brief by October 30, 2006, we sent a letter to appellant directing him to file his brief within ten days or the appeal would be subject to dismissal. Nevertheless, to date, appellant has not filed his brief or otherwise communicated with this Court regarding this appeal.

Accordingly, we DISMISS the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b).
