On order of the Court, the delayed applications for leave to appeal from the February 24, 2000 and March 3, 2000 decisions of the Court of Appeals are considered and we ORDER the prosecutor to respond in writing, in this Court, to the defendant's delayed applications for leave to appeal within 28 days after the date of this order, with particular emphasis on the question whether the trial courts gave appropriate consideration to the option of imposing a blended sentence.

We retain jurisdiction.
