Order

By order of December 22, 2021, the Clerk was directed to schedule oral argument on the application for leave to appeal the May 6, 2021 judgment of the Court of Appeals. Following the issuance of that order, the defendant-appellant filed a motion to add an issue to his application for leave to appeal. The motion to add issue is considered, and it is GRANTED. In addition to the issues the appellant was ordered to address at oral argument, the parties shall also address whether the defendant is entitled to resentencing pursuant to People v Parks , ––– Mich. ––––, ––– N.W.2d ––––, 2022 WL 3008548 (Docket No. 162086, decided July 28, 2022). Briefing on this case will be pursuant to the schedule set forth in MCR 7.312(E) and will run from the date of this order.
