The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v. Tulsie Singh, Defendant-Appellant.
An appeal having been taken from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Bronx County, rendered on or about September 25, 2015, and said appeal having been perfected and submitted (Appeal No. 3501 [March 2, 2017]), And retained counsel having moved to be relieved as such counsel, and for related relief, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of striking the designation of counsel, Adam Bevelacqua, Esq., as counsel to prosecute defendant's appeal, and substituting, pursuant to Section 722 of the County Law, Robert S. Dean, Esq., Center for Appellate Litigation, 120 Wall Street, 28th Floor, New York, New York 10005, Telephone No. 212-577-2523 as such counsel. Final determination of the appeal is held in abeyance for 30 days, pending further motion practice by newly assigned counsel, if so advised. The order of this Court entered on March 23, 2017 (M-1193) is recalled and vacated.
