People of Michigan v. Anthony Shepherd

LC No. 06-006534-01-FC

Kristina Robinson Garrett Presiding Judge Christopher M. Murray Anica Letica Judges

ORDER

The motion to waive fees is GRANTED for this case only.

The delayed application for leave to appeal is DENIED for lack of merit in the grounds presented. However, because the circuit court erroneously restyled defendant's motion as a successive motion for relief from judgment, the motion should not be regarded as a motion for relief from judgment in any future case. See, e.g., People v Humphries, 501 Mich. 1043 (2018); People v Barner, 500 Mich. 1057 (2017).
