Submitted August 18, 2000

Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from (1) an amended sentence of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Irizarry, J.), imposed June 24, 1998, under S.C.I. No. 12068/96, and (2) a sentence of the same court, also imposed June 24, 1998, under Indictment No. 4180/97, on the ground that the sentence and the amended sentence are excessive.
