People v. Santana

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Jan 3, 1984
99 A.D.2d 472 (N.Y. App. Div. 1984)

Opinion

January 3, 1984

Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Booth, J.), rendered June 16, 1980, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence. Judgment affirmed. We have reviewed the record and agree with defendant's assigned counsel that there are no meritorious issues that could be raised upon appeal. Counsel's application for leave to withdraw as counsel is granted. (See Anders v California, 386 U.S. 738; People v Paige, 54 A.D.2d 631; cf. People v Gonzalez, 47 N.Y.2d 606.) Titone, J.P., Gibbons, Bracken and Rubin, JJ., concur.
