On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the June 4, 1999 decision of the Court of Appeals is considered, and it is GRANTED limited to the issues (1) whether the other acts testimony of complainant's stepsister was admissible under MRE 404(b) and People vVanderVliet, 444 Mich. 52 (1993), and (2) whether evidence concerning a State agency order prohibiting the defendant from having contact with his children was admissible under MRE 404(b) and People v VanderVliet. The appellee's motion for release on personal recognizance bond is also considered, and it is DENIED.

The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan and the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan are invited to file briefs amicus curiae.
