Opinion

April 17, 2007.

Attorney Regulation.

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended James C. Randolph (Attorney Registration No. 28084) from the practice of law for a period of six months, all but thirty days stayed upon the successful completion of a two-year period of probation, effective May 18, 2007. Respondent, while administratively suspended from the practice of law, filed a motion seeking a temporary restraining order on behalf of a client. He withdrew from the matter shortly thereafter and later assisted his client with finding substitute counsel. Respondent's misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5(b) and violated Colo. RPC 5.5(a) and 3.4(c).
