On November 18, 2015, the court granted the petitions for review in People v. Perez, S229046 and People v. Eandi, S229305, and, on January 20, 2016, the court granted review on its own motion in People v. Buycks, S231765. At this time, the court designates Buycks the lead case and defers further action in Perez and Eandi pending consideration and disposition of related issues in Buycks or pending further order of the court. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.512(d)(2).)
