PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN v. RODNEY AMOS NEAL

LC No. 2019-006006-FC

ORDER

Douglas B. Shapiro, Judge, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:

The second motion for extension of time for filing transcripts by Court Reporter Kathy Stevens (CSR 4091) is DENIED, the requested date of December 11, 2023 having passed without the complete transcripts being filed. The transcripts for this appeal were originally due on September 12, 2023; therefore, the failure to file the transcripts as of December 11, 2023 is unreasonable. Thus, if the complete transcripts are not filed in the trial court, with a notice of filing transcripts received and filed in the Court of Appeals, by December 20, 2023, the Clerk of the court shall immediately refer this matter to a panel of judges for an order requiring Court Reporter Kathy Stevens (CSR 4091) to show cause why she should not be held in contempt of Court for violating this order and for the assessment of costs against her in the amount of $250.
