Appeal from the County Court, Westchester County (Marasco, J.).

Ordered that the judgments are affirmed (see, People v Pellegrino, 60 N.Y.2d 636; People v Harris, 61 N.Y.2d 9).

We have also reviewed the defendant's contention that he was deprived of the effective assistance of counsel and find it to be without merit (see, People v Candelaria, 139 A.D.2d 752). Mangano, J.P., Kunzeman, Rubin, Kooper and Harwood, JJ., concur.
