People v. Jacobson

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Aug 31, 1998
253 A.D.2d 562 (N.Y. App. Div. 1998)

Opinion

August 31, 1998

Writ of habeas corpus in the nature of an application for bail reduction upon Queens County Indictment No. 212/97 or to release the defendant on his own recognizance.

Adjudged that the writ is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.

The determination of the Supreme Court, Queens County, was not an improvident exercise of discretion, and did not violate "constitutional or statutory standards" ( People ex rel. Klein v. Krueger, 25 N.Y.2d 497, 499; see, People ex rel. Rosenthal v. Wolfson, 48 N.Y.2d 230).

Copertino, J. P., Thompson, Pizzuto and Luciano, JJ., concur.
