In the exercise of this Court's supervisory authority, the Appellate Court, First District, is directed to vacate its judgment in People v. Gaston, case No. 1-19-0566 (12/30/21). The appellate court is directed to consider the effect of this Court's opinion in People v. Addison, 2023 IL 127119, on the issue of whether defendant received reasonable assistance of post-conviction counsel and determine if a different result is warranted.
