THE COURT:Tommy Lee Gandy appeals from the judgment entered following his plea of no contest to one count of resisting an executive officer. (Pen. Code, § 69.) Appellant admitted a prior felony conviction (§§ 1170.12, subds. (a)-(d), 667, subds. (b)-(i)).
All further statutory references are to the Penal Code unless otherwise indicated.
On October 5, 2008, a Long Beach Police Department police officer pulled over a car for a traffic violation in which appellant was a passenger. Appellant got out of the car and ran away. After a pursuit and struggle, during which the officer received cuts and abrasions, appellant was arrested.
He was sentenced to 32 months in prison consisting of the low term of 16 months, doubled by reason of the prior strike. (§§ 1170.12, subds. (a)-(d), 667, subds. (b)-(i).) We appointed counsel to represent him on this appeal.
After examination of the record, counsel filed an “Opening Brief” in which no issues were raised.
On August 6, 2009, we advised appellant that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues which he wished us to consider. No response has been received to date.
We have examined the entire record and are satisfied that appellant’s attorney has fully complied with her responsibilities and that no arguable issues exist. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)
The judgment is affirmed.
