Application by the defendant pursuant to CPL 530.45 to be released on his own recognizance or, in the alternative, to set bail after his conviction of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree under indictment nos. 70079/2023 and 54/2023, upon a jury verdict, on August 11, 2023. The County Court, Orange County, remanded the defendant pending the imposition of sentence.
