DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from an order of the District Court of Suffolk County, Traffic and Parking Violations Agency, entered October 17, 2022.

By order to show cause dated October 23, 2023, the appellant and the respondent, or their respective counsel, were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered imposing such sanctions and/or costs, if any, against the appellant and the respondent or their respective counsel pursuant to 22 NYCRR 730.3 (c).

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.

Under the circumstances sanctions are not warranted.

Counsel are reminded of their obligation under the aforesaid rule to immediately notify the court "when a matter or any issue has been rendered moot." (emphasis added).
