MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant's brief was due November 2, 2002. The Court notified appellant by letter dated November 12, 2002 that his brief was overdue and ordered the brief filed by November 22, 2002. On November 25, 2002, appellant filed a motion requesting an extension of time to December 6, 2002 to file his brief. The Court granted the extension. The brief was not filed. On December 17, 2002, appellant filed a motion requesting an extension of time to January 6, 2003 to file his brief. The Court granted the extension. On January 15, 2003, appellant filed a motion for extension of time to February 7, 2003 to file his brief. The Court granted the extension. On February 11, 2003, appellant filed a brief with the Court. On February 12, 2003, the Court notified appellant that the brief was defective and directed appellant to file an amended brief no later than February 22, 2003. On February 24, 2003, appellant filed a motion for extension of time to March 24, 2003 to file his amended brief. The Court granted the extension. On March 25, 2003 appellant filed an amended brief. On March 26, 2003, the Court entered an order striking the amended brief because it was defective and ordered appellant to file an amended brief no later than April 11, 2003. The Court warned appellant that failure to file a proper brief by April 11, 2003 may result in dismissal of his appeal. Appellant has not filed an amended brief. Consequently, the Court DISMISSES this appeal for want of prosecution. Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(b) and (c).
