ORDER

PER CURIAM

AND NOW, this 23rd day of August, 2022, the Joint Petition for Temporary Suspension is GRANTED. Corey John Kolcharno is placed on temporary suspension, see Pa.R.D.E. 214(d)(5), and he shall comply with all the provisions of Pa.R.D.E. 217.

Respondent's rights to petition for dissolution or amendment of this Order and to request accelerated disposition of charges underlying this Order are specifically preserved. See Pa.R.D.E. 214(f)(2).

JOINT PETITION TO TEMPORARILY SUSPEND AN ATTORNEY

Petitioner, the Office of Disciplinary Counsel ("ODC") by Thomas J. Farrell, Chief Disciplinary Counsel, and Jennifer E. Tobias, Disciplinary Counsel and Respondent, Corey John Kolcharno ("Respondent"), respectfully petition Your Honorable Court for entry of an order temporarily suspending Corey Kolcharno from the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and in support thereof state:

1. ODC, whose principal office is situated at Pennsylvania Judicial Center, 601 Commonwealth Ave., Suite 2700, P.O. Box 62485, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17106, is invested, pursuant to Pa. R.D.E. 207, with the power and duty to investigate all matters involving alleged misconduct of an attorney admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and to prosecute all disciplinary proceedings brought in accordance with the various provisions of the aforesaid Enforcement Rules.

2. Respondent was born on August 12,1974, and was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on May 21, 2001. Respondent's attorney registration number is 87087. Respondent is on active status and his registration address is 1418 Main Street, Suite 206 B, Peckville, Pennsylvania 18452. Respondent is subject to the disciplinary jurisdiction of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court.

3. On August 8, 2022, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office will charge Respondent with four counts of Promoting Prostitution, 18 Pa.C.S.A. §5902(b) (Felonies of the third degree) in the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas.

4. Respondent admits the charges are serious.

5. Respondent and Petitioner believe it is in the best interests of the public, the bar, and the Court, for Respondent to be immediately suspended at this time under Rule 214(d)(5), Pa.R.D.E., pending any further proceedings under Rule 214, Pa.R.D.E., to determine the extent of final discipline.

WHEREFORE, Respondent and Petitioner jointly move your Honorable Court to enter an Order temporarily suspending Respondent from the practice of law.

AND NOW, this day of, 2022, upon consideration of the Joint Petition for Temporary Suspension, Corey John Kolcharno is hereby placed on temporary suspension, see Pa.R.D.E. 214(d)(5), and he shall comply with all the provisions of Pa.R.D.E. 217.
