MEMORANDUM OPINION

Pursuant to this court's order issued May 13, 2005, appellant was given the opportunity to file a redrawn appellant's brief that complies with the requirements of Rule 38.1 on or before June 13, 2005. Tex.R.App.P. 38.1. Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed. See Tex.R.App.P. 38.6(d). On July 11, 2005, this court ordered appellant to show cause in writing by July 26, 2005, why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Appellant responded, but did not file a redrawn appellant's brief or request an extension of time to do so. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution. See Tex.R.App.P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b).
