TRACY NIXON, Appellant v. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 301st Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. DF-00-14691

ORDER

Before the Court is appellant's February 27, 2018 "Motion to Fix Amount of Security for Supersedeas." In his motion, appellant asks this Court to set the amount of security required to supersede the judgment or, alternatively, to suspend enforcement of the judgment without requiring security. Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 24 governs the suspension of the enforcement of judgments pending appeal in civil cases. See TEX. R. APP. P. 24. Our records do not reflect appellant has suspended or sought to suspend enforcement of the trial court's judgment in accordance with that rule. See TEX. R. APP. P. 24.1(a). Accordingly, we DENY the motion.
