ORDER
The Court REINSTATES the appeals.
On January 12, 2016, we ordered the trial court, for the second time, to make findings regarding why the reporter's record has not been filed in these appeals. We ADOPT the findings that: (1) appellant desires to pursue the appeals; (2) appellant is indigent and entitled to proceed without payment for the record; (3) appellant is represented by appointed counsel who requested preparation of the reporter's record on April 22, 2015; (4) Vearneas Faggett is the court reporter who recorded the proceedings; (5) Ms. Faggett's explanation for the delay in filing the record is that there was some uncertainty as to whether appellant intended to pursue the appeals; and (6) Ms. Faggett requested forty-five days from the January 20, 2016 findings to file the record.
We ORDER Vearneas Faggett, official court reporter of the Criminal District Court No. 7, to file the complete reporter's record, including all exhibits admitted into evidence, by MARCH 7, 2016. Because the record is already six months overdue, no further extensions will be granted. If the record is not filed by the date specified, the Court will utilize its available remedies, including ordering that Ms. Faggett not sit as a court reporter until the record is filed in these appeals.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Elizabeth Frizell, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 7; Vearneas Faggett, official court reporter, Criminal District Court No. 7; and to counsel for all parties.
