Civil Action No. 05-1179 (E.D. Pa. Feb. 2, 2006)

Opinion

Civil Action No. 05-1179.

February 2, 2006

MEMORANDUM/ORDER

Before the court is "Defendants' Motion Pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(6) to Dismiss Request for Punitive Damages in Count Four of Plaintiff's Amended Complaint" (Docket # 7). The motion requests dismissal of "that portion of Count Four of Plaintiff's Amended Complaint requesting punitive damages for alleged violations of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act."

The motion appears well-supported. Additionally, plaintiff has not timely responded to the motion, and it is therefore appropriate to grant the motion as unopposed pursuant to Local Rule 7.1(c).

It is hereby ORDERED that "Defendants' Motion Pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(6) to Dismiss Request for Punitive Damages in Count Four of Plaintiff's Amended Complaint" (Docket # 7) is GRANTED.
