Michigan Rising Action v. Secretary of State

LC No. 20-000157-MZ

ORDER

Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge Pro Tem, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:

The motion to expedite consideration of appeal is GRANTED TO THE EXTENT that the Clerk's Office shall designate this appeal as an appeal of the type specified in MCR 7.204(D)(3) because it involves a ruling by the trial court that action of the executive branch of state government is invalid. Otherwise, even without the motion, the Court would as a matter of established practice give priority in placement on the session calendar to this appeal involving the Freedom of Information Act based on MCL 15.240(5).
