MIGUEL MENDEZ, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 1 Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause Nos. F21-58585-H, F21-58586-H.

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

We REINSTATE these appeals.

By letter dated April 10, 2023, the Court notified the trial court that the record does not contain the trial court's certification of appellant's right of appeal. We asked the trial court to file a certification within ten days. To date, no certification of appellant's right of appeal has been filed in these appeals.

Accordingly, we ORDER the trial court to file, within TEN DAYS of the date of this order, a supplemental clerk's record in each case containing a certification of defendant's right of appeal that accurately reflects the trial court proceedings and the defendant's right of appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 25.2(A), (D).

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Tina Clinton, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 1; Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk; and counsel for all parties.
