Plaintiff filed a complaint for mandamus and this Court, by order of May 25, 2001, directed the parties to provide the Court certain information. The parties have complied with that directive. On order of the Court, the complaint for mandamus is considered, and, in lieu of granting other relief, we DIRECT defendant to exercise its discretion under Rule 7 of the Board of Law Examiners and issue a decision detailing whether plaintiff has made an adequate showing for waiver of the requirement that he possess a degree from a reputable and qualified law school. The decision shall be forwarded to this Court within 90 days of this order. Plaintiff may file a brief addressing the decision within 21 days of the filing of the decision. Defendant may file a reply brief within 14 days of plaintiff's brief, if any.

We retain jurisdiction.
