DAVID MEDINA, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee.

Do not publish. Tex.R.App.P. 47.2(b).

On appeal from the 379th District Court of Bexar County, Texas.

Before Chief Justice Contreras and Justices Silva and Peña

ORDER

PER CURIAM

This cause is before the Court on appellant's fourth motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief. Appellant's brief was originally due on August 9, 2023. After three previous extensions, appellant's brief was due to be filed on November 9, 2023. On October 31, 2023, the Clerk of the Court sent appellant notice that no further extensions would be granted absent exigent circumstances.

However, the Court, having fully considered appellant's current motion and motions for extension of time to file the brief previously granted in this case, is of the opinion that, in the interest of justice, appellant's fourth motion for extension of time to file the brief should be granted with order.

Accordingly, appellant's fourth motion for extension of time to file the brief is hereby granted. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Honorable Kurt Hopke, counsel for appellant, file appellant's brief with this Court on or before 5:00 p.m. on December 11, 2023.
