MEMORANDUM AND ORDER PURSUANT TO RULE 1:28
As reflected on the trial court docket, on August 30, 2013, the plaintiff filed a complaint in Essex Superior Court, and his case was entered as ESCV2013-01422. Thereafter, on January 22, 2014, judgment of dismissal entered in favor of the defendants. Before us is the plaintiff's appeal from that judgment.
The plaintiff failed to provide us with the relevant docket entries in the proceedings below. See Mass.R.App.P. 18(a). We therefore rely upon the docket sheet transmitted to this court upon the assembly of the record in the trial court.

As the appellant, the plaintiff was required to provide this court with a record appendix containing, among other things, the pleadings and orders needed for appellate review of the issues presented. See Mass.R.App.P. 18(a), as amended, 425 Mass. 1601 (1997). Here, by failing to include such critical documents as the parties' submissions on the dispositive motions and the judge's memoranda of decision, the plaintiff has made meaningful appellate review impossible. The judgment is therefore affirmed.
