Alison MAYNARD and Richard Carlisle, Appellants v. Mark BANKSTON, Appellee

From the 131st Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2024-CI-00306 Honorable Antonia Arteaga, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Irene Rios, Justice

Appellants' brief was originally due on June 20, 2024. On that date, appellants filed a "Motion for Extension on Opening Brief, and for Supplemental Record." Appellants' motion indicates they wish to file supplemental clerk's and reporter's records that they believe are relevant to this appeal. However, appellants' motion does not indicate whether they have asked the district clerk and/or the court reporter to prepare those supplemental records. See Tex. R. App. P. 34.5(c), 34.6(d).

We GRANT appellants' motion for extension of time and ORDER them to file their brief by July 31, 2024. If appellants wish to present supplemental clerk's and/or reporter's records to this court, they must do so by requesting those records from the district clerk and/or the court reporter in accordance with Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 34.5(c) and 34.6(d). If appellants wish to seek further extensions of time based on representations that the clerk's and/or reporter's record is not complete, they must provide written proof that they have requested the portions of the record at issue. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.3(a), (b).
