DISCIPLINARY MATTERS

ORDER

The Disciplinary Review Board having filed a report with the Supreme Court recommending that JAMES V. SPAGNOLI, of ELIZABETH, who was admitted to the Bar of this State in 1969, be disbarred, and good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that JAMES V. SPAGNOLI show cause before this Court on Tuesday, January 3, 1989, at 2:00 p.m. in the Supreme Court Courtroom, Hughes Justice Complex, Trenton, why he should not be disbarred or otherwise disciplined; and it is further

ORDERED that David E. Johnson, Jr., Esquire, or his designee, present this matter to the Court; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent shall serve and file nine copies of his brief with the Clerk of this Court by December 12, 1988, and the Office of Attorney Ethics shall serve and file its response, if any, by December 27, 1988; and it is further

ORDERED that the temporary suspension of JAMES V. SPAGNOLI, imposed by order of this Court dated March 30, 1987, be continued pending the further order of this Court; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent continue to be restrained and enjoined from practicing law during the period of his suspension and that he continue to his compliance with Administrative Guideline No. 23 of the Office of Attorney Ethics dealing with suspended attorneys.
