Matter of Katsoris v. Police Department

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, First Department
Feb 22, 1996
224 A.D.2d 331 (N.Y. App. Div. 1996)

Opinion

February 22, 1996

Appeal from the Supreme Court, New York County [Kristin Booth Glen, J.].

Substantial evidence supports the determination that petitioner's pistol license and rifle/shotgun permit be revoked ( see, Waskiewicz v. New York City Police Dept., 211 A.D.2d 603). We decline to disturb the administrative determination as to the credibility of witnesses appearing before the Hearing Officer ( see, Sewell v. City of New York, 182 A.D.2d 469, 473, lv denied 80 N.Y.2d 756).
