Matter of Harris v. M.D. Knowlton Co.

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Third Department
Dec 21, 1970
35 A.D.2d 1039 (N.Y. App. Div. 1970)

Opinion

December 21, 1970

Appeal from a decision of the Workmen's Compensation Board, filed February 13, 1970, which found a causal relation between a welding arc flash burn to claimant's left eye on June 1, 1966 and the macular hole and 100% schedule loss of vision of said eye. Although there was conflicting medical testimony as to causation, the board's determination is supported by substantial evidence and should not be disturbed. Decision affirmed, with costs to the Workmen's Compensation Board. Herlihy, P.J., Staley, Jr., Greenblott, Cooke and Sweeney, JJ., concur.
