DISCIPLINARY MATTERS

ORDER

RICHARD G. FREIDIN of SHORT HILLS, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1974, having been automatically temporarily suspended from the practice of law under Rule 1:20-6(a)(1) following his conviction for tax evasion in violation of 26 U.S.C.A. 7201 and causing false statements in violation of 18 U.S.C.A. 1001, 1002; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit having reversed the conviction and remanded the matter for a new trial in its decision of June 8, 1988, and respondent having made application to lift the suspension, and the Office of Attorney Ethics having no objection to the reinstatement pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings;

It is ORDERED that RICHARD G. FREIDIN is restored to the practice of law, effective immediately.
