WILLIAM BOYD MATLOCK v. BROOKSHIRE GROCERY COMPANY

On Writ of Certiorari to the Court of Appeal, Second Circuit, Parish of Ouachita Hughes, J., would grant the writ.

Given the size of the puddle, the condition of the melon, and the fact that defendant apparently kept "wet floor" signs in the produce section permanently, I would grant the writ. It appears this accident could have been avoided.
