MEMORANDUM OPINION


Christopher Manriquez was convicted of theft and sentenced to 24 months in a state jail facility. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 31.03(e)(4) (Vernon Supp. 2008). Manriquez appealed that conviction but has now filed a Motion to Voluntarily Dismiss Appeal requesting this Court to dismiss the appeal. Manriquez personally signed the motion to dismiss. The motion to dismiss is granted. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed. TEX. R. APP. P. 42.2(a).
