Omolara Makini v. Charter County of Wayne

LC No. 21-002368-CZ

ORDER

Christopher M. Murray, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:

The motion to waive fees is GRANTED for this case only.

The claim of appeal and motion for immediate consideration are DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction because a final order or judgment had not yet been entered when the claim of appeal was filed on July 20, 2021. MCR 7.203(A)(1) The Court has since received a copy of a final order that was entered on August 5, 2021, but the jurisdictional defect of the premature claim of appeal cannot be cured by a final order entered after the claim of appeal was filed.
