ORDER

Lewis R. Carluzzo, Chief Special Trial Judge.

This case for the redetermination of a deficiency was called from the calendar for trial in Chicago, Illinois, on September 25, 2023. There was no appearance by or on behalf of petitioner. Counsel for respondent appeared, advised the Court that a proposed stipulated decision previously forwarded to petitioner had not been returned, and made an oral motion for leave to file an amendment to respondent's answer.

Premises considered, it is ORDERED that respondent's oral motion for leave, made September 25, 2023, is granted. It is further ORDERED that respondent's amendment to answer is due not later than October 31, 2023. It is further ORDERED that this case is continued, with jurisdiction retrained by the undersigned.

Unless a proposed stipulated decision is submitted sooner, the case will be set for trial during the Court's 2024 winter term.
