COSTS, § 24when successful party in contest referred to master should not be taxed for master's fees. In action to contest ownership of master's certificate, to which answer was filed denying interest of claimant, and it appeared that matter was referred to master who found against claimant and recommended that one half of master's fees be taxed against each party, which was objected to, held that successful party should not be taxed for any part of master's fees.

Appeal from the Circuit Court of Cook county; the Hon. ROBERT J. DUNNE, Judge, presiding.

Decree affirmed in part, reversed and remanded in part with directions. Heard in the first division, first district, this court at the October term, 1945.
